Twining Original Design ("TOD," "we," "us," or "our") operates todcan.com and provides web design, web hosting, and SEO services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.
Information We Collect
Contact & Account Data
When you contact us, request a quote, or enter into a service agreement, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, and billing address. This data is used solely to deliver services and communicate with you.
Payment Data
Payments are processed by Stripe, Square, and Wave Accounting. We do not store your full credit card numbers or banking details on our servers. Each processor maintains its own security and privacy practices. By making a payment you also agree to the applicable processor's terms.
Usage & Analytics Data
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous data about how visitors interact with this website — pages visited, time on site, traffic source, device type, and approximate geographic location. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.
Embedded YouTube Videos
Some pages include YouTube videos embedded via Google's standard embed code. When you interact with these videos, YouTube (Google LLC) may collect data such as your IP address and browser information, governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not control or receive this data.

We retain client contact and billing records for a minimum of 7 years to comply with standard business and tax obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no internet transmission is 100% secure.

Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to This Policy

Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Twining Original Design governing all services.
These Terms of Service govern your use of services provided by Twining Original Design ("TOD"), Redding, California. By engaging TOD for any service — web design, web hosting, or SEO — you agree to these Terms in their entirety.
Refund & Cancellation Policies
Web Design & Development
All web design work is guaranteed to meet client approval as specified by the project scope and terms of the development contract or invoice. No refunds will be issued after a client pays the final balance due. The final payment constitutes the client's formal approval and acceptance of a satisfactorily completed project.
Deposits: Project deposits are non-refundable after 30 days from the date of payment.
Web Hosting
All web hosting accounts are billed in advance for a term of 6 months, 1 year, or 2 years. New hosting clients have 90 days from account opening to cancel and receive a full refund.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to host@todcanhost.com within the 90-day window. After 90 days, the account remains active through the end of the paid term with no refund issued.
SEO – Search Engine Optimization
SEO services are prepaid and non-refundable for the active term. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to service@todcan.com before the start of a new term cycle.
Term Cycles are defined as a minimum commitment of 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year as specified in the client contract or invoice. Non-payment for a full term cycle constitutes a breach of contract but does not constitute cancellation. Any unpaid balance remains due and payable; interest, collection fees, and court costs may be added if necessary.
★ SEO Satisfaction Guarantee
Twining Original Design guarantees that if you implement our SEO recommendations, organic search traffic will increase over the term of service. We further guarantee our work will not expose your site to penalties from Google, Bing, or Yahoo.
Guarantee Conditions: This guarantee applies when: (a) the full term of service has been completed; (b) all SEO services have been delivered by TOD; and (c) the client can demonstrate either a search engine penalty resulting in ranking loss, or a verifiable absence of ranking improvement relative to baseline rankings at term start. A ranking gain in any one of Google, Bing, or Yahoo fulfills the guarantee.
Filing a Claim: Claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the term's end — not before — with documented evidence of no gain or a search engine penalty. If TOD determines the claim is valid, a refund for the current term will be issued within 30 days. No other basis for an SEO refund exists.
General Terms
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Shasta County, California.
Limitation of Liability
TOD's total liability for any claim arising from services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service in question during the preceding 12 months.
Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of final payment, clients receive full ownership of the deliverables produced under their project agreement. TOD retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Changes to Terms
TOD reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates are effective upon posting. Active service agreements are governed by the Terms in place at the time of signing unless both parties agree in writing to updated terms.
